The last time I went to a school, I had to be verified and let in, and I had to have a school-approved objective. 

Now I think pastors and other leaders of faith can serve a great purpose in our communities, and some with religious training (NOT BAPTISTS, they don’t verify or standardize their training) have official training in various forms of counseling, psychological referrals, grief counseling, domestic abuse counseling, organizing after natural disasters, organizing after grief, community interaction and development, CONFIDENTIALITY, and other helpful skills.

…but if they’re not an educator or a student, they shouldn’t be allowed to “hang out” or recruit at a public schools, especially considering all of the hoops the regular public has to jump through just to get through the front doors.

AND…ASIDE…the Fellowship of Christian Athletes doesn’t approve of LGBT students, so I think they’re not only jocks, but bullies in the name of G_D; they always have been.

I really like how family-oriented the Conway parade looks.  People bring out their kids and get snow cones and support their family/community members.  Some people on the Conway paper site are suggesting that the government needs to get involved and possibly remove the kids that were there from their families?!?!?!? 

Besides the awesome pictures, the good news is that this year there were no protesters!

If you are a company looking to move your headquarters to central Arkansas, I hope you like flammable drinking water.  The cities are not in the clear, as the natural gas companies have drilled underneath two large resevoirs: Greers Ferry Lake and Brewer Lake.

The conservative democratic governor, Mike Beebe, has come out against fracking underneath these reservoirs, but he thinks everyone else with flammable or polluted well water is a hippie or treehugger.  Check out this link to Beebe’s shale interview.
